Hello, I’m Susanne [usually get Susie] and I am lucky enough to live on the beautiful Sunshine coast Queensland.
Congratulations on your engagement, this is a wonderful time in your lives whether you are young and just starting out, or older and cementing a longstanding relationship. I am a professionally trained, Authorised Marriage Celebrant, registered with the Attorney General’s office and I am here to guide you through the process of getting married in Australia and I love what I do. Getting to know my couples and making the legal aspects of marriage easy, so that we can enjoy the planning of your ceremony, is my goal so that there is no extra stress!
I grew up in the 70’s and remain a bit of a “hippy chick” to this day, so barefoot in the sand with the sun on our faces and daisy chains in our hair, Rolling Stones playing , it is all ok with me. The less ”normal” the better, pets, children, laughter, jokes, I love it all , just don’t ask me to sing! I also enjoy the more traditional and serious aspects of the wedding day, the special involvement of the parents and other loved ones of my couples, the vows that are said, aloud in front of witnesses, the bond that is being created between two people. I love the emotion, the love, the happiness that comes through the words that we will create together, for your ceremony. What ever you want, for your wedding day, whether it be Formal, Casual or In-between, I will help you create a ceremony that reflects who you are and what you feel for each other. The skill is in getting the balance right between light hearted fun and deep emotion, romance and friendship, seriousness and fun. What ever style of wedding, you would like, we want it to be memorable for you, the marrying couple and also for your loved ones, witnessing your marriage. I have many fantastic ideas, both traditional and modern, to enhance your wedding and make it different and unforgettable.My background is in nursing, so I have developed a keen eye for observation and an attention to detail that also serve me well in planning your ceremony.I want to listen, intently, to your ideas and find out exactly what you envisage for your perfect day and deliver this for you. I look forward to meeting with you and assisting you to have the wedding ceremony that you have dreamed of.
