It’s your choice!
BIG SPECIAL DAY ;Inspired, unique, creative, fun and romantic will take 20-30 minutes and include participation from your loved ones, readings, rituals, anything you want. An individually designed and written ceremony inspired by my interactions with you and your valuable input. We will create unique vows that you can write yourself or that I can help you with, and we will weave these around the legal wording to make it your own. I will lodge all legal paperwork for you. I will have fun with you and probably have a tear or two as I am quite an emotional person.

SNEAKY “ELOPE STYLE”WEDDING; Do you want to get married without all the fuss and expense, but at the same time have a romantic and meaningful ceremony? A shorter ceremony is available, you only need yourselves and two witnesses over the age of 18. Oh and me of course , to conduct the proceedings. My husband and I opted for this style over 30 years ago ! There are many reasons that you may want to do this , you may have been previously married and feel that the fuss is not your thing now; you may want to save your money for a home or a year in Europe. Whatever your reason , you can opt for this cheaper option and we can still make it special and memorable. I will lodge all legal paperwork for you , and enjoy the experience with you. Surprise your family and friends with a BYO party when you are ready!

COMMITMENT CEREMONIES

There are many reasons why people may not want to marry, but do want to publicly formalise their relationship and make a declaration, before their friends and family, of their love and commitment to each other. A commitment ceremony, symbolises the intent of a couple to fully commit to their union and to be together always. It is a very special ceremony and as with a wedding ceremony, it can be as fun , emotional, formal or casual as you like. There is no legal component, so you can be as creative as you want with the content, and again I value your input. A special and memorable ceremony that is a symbol of your special bond.

RENEWAL OF VOWS [REAFFIRMATION]

You have been married forever and you are still hopelessly in love ? Isn’t it wonderful to see an older couple still holding hands and leaning into each other to whisper sweet nothings. Or to see a younger couple, maybe married 5 or 10 years , who still look as though they are on their honeymoon , despite three kids and a mortgage. You know that this is special and rare, and something to celebrate. Whether you had a big wedding or a minimalistic one, you can again celebrate your love and your enduring relationship , by having a renewal of vows. This is a public declaration of your commitment to continuing to make your relationship a great one. Have fun with it and make it a special and memorable day, maybe surprise your friends and family by adding this to a birthday party or some other occasion.

BABY NAMING

What a lovely time in your lives, the birth of your children. You can choose to celebrate this with a naming ceremony at whatever age you prefer. This may be your choice rather than the traditional religious christening, and can be much more fun and intimate. Plus I promise not to throw water on your child’s head! We will celebrate your child’s birth, their future and your dreams for them. Our children greatly enrich our lives [until they become teenagers] and we would give our lives for them. There is a saying that “you are only as happy as your unhappiest child” and I have found this to be very accurate in my journey through life. They are a special gift to us and a Naming ceremony is one way of showing our love and devotion to them.
